Jennifer is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) and Certified CranioSacral Therapist with nearly 25 years of experience in practicing and teaching Chinese Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy (CST), and Chinese Internal Martial Arts.  She holds a Master’s with distinction in Medical Anthropology from Northern Arizona University, completed a CRTA Fellowship with the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health, and holds an Advanced Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University.

Jennifer is a General Practitioner, seeing everyone from newborns to adults into their 80s, with a focus in recovery from physical trauma due to accident/injury, brain trauma (TBI), neurological conditions, chronic illness, pediatrics, and women’s health.  Jennifer is passionate about helping patients recover and thrive using a holistic approach which includes Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy (CST), Tuina (Chinese Orthopedic Bodywork), herbal medicine, targeted nutritional guidance, and therapeutic movement with Taiji Chuan and Qi Gong.  

Jennifer began training in Chinese Medicine and Chinese Internal Martial Arts in 1994, with Dr. Miranda Warburton.  Over the next 12 years she studied intensively to hone her skills and integrate the practice of Chinese Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, and martial arts.  During this time, Jennifer continued studying and practicing Chinese Medicine and CST with Dr. Warburton.  She also undertook an intensive apprenticeship with Vince Black, who specialized in Jin Shou Tuina, CranioSacral Therapy, and martial arts; she made multiple trips to Asia where she had the great fortune to study with many different masters of the medical arts and martial arts; and completed clinical internships at the International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, and Zhejiang Medical University in Hongzhou, China.  In 2008, Jennifer became board-certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, and obtained her California license to practice acupuncture after completing a Master’s in TCM from Five Branches University.  

Jennifer is also a Primary Therapist and Adjunctive Therapist in Integrative Intentions Comprehensive Therapy Programs (CTP) and Dolphin Assisted Therapy (DAT) Programs.  These programs are run jointly by Dr. Chas Perry and Kat Perry, and are affiliated with the Upledger Institute.  Jennifer has had the great fortune to mentor with Dr. Miranda Warburton and Dr. Chas Perry in the practice and integration of Chinese Medicine and CranioSacral Therapy, beginning in 2004.  As the Adjunctive Therapist in the Therapy Programs, Jennifer integrates CST and acupuncture, weaving the two modalities together into the daily therapy sessions, in a collaborative process with the other members of the Integrative Intentions therapy team. She also serves as a Teaching Assistant in Bioaquatics classes in the Bahamas in Integrative Intentions Bioaquatic Classes offered each summer.  

 Jennifer and Miranda co-founded Six Harmonies Traditional Medicine Center in Los Gatos, CA and have been serving Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Saratoga, and the greater South Bay communities since 2008.

Miranda began studying Traditional Chinese Medicine with particular emphasis on Jin Shou TuiNa in 1989. From 1988 to 2002 her primary employment was as an Anthropologist for the Navajo Nation. In 2002, she changed her life's direction and entered the Healing Arts full time. Miranda is a graduate of Northern Arizona Massage Therapy Institute (NAMTI) in Sedona, AZ (840 hour program). After teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine, Intro to CranioSacral Therapy, and Thai massage at NAMTI for six years, she moved to California and practiced at 6 Harmonies Traditional Medicine in Saratoga, CA for 7 years. Miranda has moved back to Arizona and has a practice in Sedona. Her practice focuses on CranioSacral Therapy including SER work, and Tuina (Chinese Orthopedic Bodywork).

Miranda has completed CS1, CS2, SER1, SER2, Advanced CST1, Advanced CST2, Advanced CST3, and Advanced BioAquatics through the Upledger Institute. 

She also teaches Intro to CranioSacral Therapy, the Bioaquatics curriculum (BAEC, BAES, BAER), and the CranioSacral Therapy and Chinese Medicine Energetics series.  Since 2005 Miranda has been a Primary Therapist in the Upledger Institute/Integrative Intentions Dolphin Assisted Therapy Program in the Bahamas and other Comprehensive Therapy Programs run jointly by Dr.Chas Perry and Kat Perry of Integrative Intentions and the Upledger Institute.

Martial Arts: Miranda began training Tai Chi Chuan and the Chinese Internal Martial Arts of Hsing-I and Bagua in 1989 with the North American Tang Shou Tao Association. In 2010 she began training Sun Lutong Style Tai Chi, Hsing-I and Bagua with Sifu Wing Lam of Sunnyvale, Ca. Miranda teaches Sun Style Tai Chi in Sedona.

Miranda is Founder and Director of Rising Dragon Kung Fu and 6 Harmonies - Sedona.  She is also Co-founder of 6 Harmonies Traditional Medicine Center in Saratoga, CA with Jennifer Minor.
